Kirriemuir Angus Scotland

Kirriemuir Angus Scotland known as ‘Gateway to the Glens’  with a world famous name of the novelist J.M. Barrie who was born here and a statue to his famous character Peter Pan. This is a special place not to be missed. Kirriemuir also has a Camera Obscura which give amazing views of the area. Kirriemuir also boast the narrowest public footpath in Western Europe; Cat’s Close,is less than 16 inches wide (40 cms )centimetres (15.75 inches) wide. In the cemetery is the grave of J.M.Barrie and a war memorial of a kilted soldier on a column.
