Buckhaven Fife

The fishing community of Buckhaven is said to have been largely the descendants of Norsemen who settled in the 9th century. Buckhaven Norse meaning “roaring harbour”.

St Andrew’s Church Buckhaven

The People of had no Church so the purchased one Church in St Andrews in 1869 and took the church apart transferred it by fishing boat and rebuilt it in Buckhaven.
